Zambelli Fireworks is Lighting Up the Night for
Families and Festivities this Fourth of July 2007
New Castle, PA (July 4, 2007)- One of the last great family events, 4th of July Fireworks let families, friends and neighbors enjoy each others company as they mark our nation's birth.
Today crowds look to the skies for our Independence Day thrills with booms, bangs and sparkling color. But where did the concept of fireworks come from anyway? Actually it came over on the boats with our forefathers from England where fireworks were a longtime favorite of kings and queens. Many family-owned fireworks companies perfected their craft in Europe. One of these families is the Zambellis.
"We've done literally thousands and thousands of 4th of July fireworks displays over the years," states company Chairman George Zambelli, Jr. "But we never tire of seeing the way fireworks brings families together. It is really our privilege to be able to present family-friendly events that people look forward to each and every year."
Zambelli Fireworks dates back to Antonio Zambelli, an immigrant to the United States from Italy, who brought his expertise in fireworks stateside in 1893 to found the family-run company. Known as "Mr. Fireworks," George R. Zambelli, Sr. served as president and general manager of Zambelli Internationale fireworks Manufacturing Company until his death on December 25, 2003. The firm has planned and displayed literally thousands and thousands of not only Fourth of July displays but national and international fireworks celebrations.
This year Zambelli will light up parties in sky for over 1800 separate Independence Day celebrations. Here are just a few:
