Zambelli Fireworks Lights up the Night with a Fireworks Spectacular for the 2008 Ball Drop in Times Square, New York City

NEW CASTLE, PENN (December 31, 2006) The world's symbol of New Year's, the Times Square Ball drop, has been rousing revelers since 1904. But this year, millions will witness this long-time favorite in a whole new way, as Zambelli Fireworks lights up the night with a brand new modern display that is truly the first of its kind.
Starting at 6pm EST, the New Year's ceremony will kickoff as the ball begins to rise followed by the countdown screen each and every hour enhanced with a spectacular set of pyrotechnic effects. The final countdown to midnight will be illuminated number by number building anticipation to the arrival of 2007.
The countdown fireworks will literally shoot horizontally, offering a spectacular and dazzling frame for the countdown screen. Brand new technology has been used by Zambelli to both plan and execute this state-of-the art display that truly will give 2007 a breathtaking welcome.
The computer-fired show is fully choreographed to Olde Lang Syne. At the stroke of midnight New York and the world will be treated to a never-before-seen extravaganza. Fireworks will be fired from a total of 29 separate locations on the One Times Square building. New capless devices will be just one of the innovative technologies that will enable Zambelli's skilled technicians to create and execute a show that will be like none other.

"We strive to make customer service our top priority for every display and every event. We are extremely dedicated to doing whatever it takes to make this show, and all of the approximately 100 shows we'll do this New Year's, the absolute best that they can be. We have utilized digital show simulation technology to plan the Times Square show and will be using computerized-firing and computerized music synchronization on the display. The show designer said, we'll be using unique pyrotechnics and will be debuting brand new innovative capless devices."
This year as the world hears 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3 and,2 they will be doing more than readying themselves for a brand new year-they'll also be anticipating a whole new look for this year's celebration.
